Daheen’s long awaited 2nd downbeat album Purple Chillies follows on from his much acclaimed Green Chillies album. A collection of downbeat/chillout tunes created over several years in the studio that explores a wide range of downbeat styles and takes the listener on an adventurous musical journey. Guitars and operatic vocals combine with interwoven melodies, intricate percussion and warm basslines. Entwined amongst the music are a number of environmental themes designed to create awareness, provoke thought and by the end of the album a story has been told.
